See where New York City has passed a resolution against the "N" word, and various municipalities in NJ are following suit. It's all rather a mystery, since why NYC or NJ would give even a symbolic rat's ass why anyone says "Nordic" is a pretty confusing subject with many political ramifications. Fortunately, they didn't try to ban "naggar," "nagger," "naggir," "naggor," "naggur," "neggar," "negger," "neggir," "neggor," "neggur," "niggar," "niggir," "niggor," "niggur," "noggar," "nogger," "noggir," "noggor," "noggur," "nuggar," "nugger," "nuggir," "nuggor," "nuggur," or "colored" so any statutes they manage to ram through will be practically unnoticable.
Thank God that here in 'Merca we can tell the difference between that pesky ol' freedom of speech bilge-oil and the necessity out here in the real world to control words that people don't like.

ReplyDeleteI think laws are the wrong way to go, even symbolically. But I do think it would be better if peeps decided (voluntarily) not to use the ethnic slurs, faggot, retard, etc., so I'm taking the "tard" stuff out of my vocab. The words contribute to an atmosphere of hate and ugliness, and I don't mind doing my teensy part to stop piling on.
