To share my innermost being, to make some connection with another lonely island. And yeah, maybe to make a living at it, and perhaps to be at least modestly well known among my peers and readers as skilled at my craft, and worth the time they spend traveling with me in my worlds, and making them their own, at least a little bit.
Mostly this, though.

ReplyDeleteI understand that hot redheads ripping their clothes off is one of those de rigueur accessories for the successful writer. But so far the books haven't explained where to go to get some issued. It's probably somewhere in the footnotes in the chapter on "Literary Devices."
